Rancho Cordova Sports Hall of Fame

One of the most versatile athletes to emerge from Cordova High School, Bowles earned Sacramento Bee Player of the Year honors as a member of Cordova’s 1975 national championship team and was selected to the Sacramento Union’s All-City First Team. Demonstrating exceptional versatility, he scored touchdowns from five different positions. Bowles went on to have standout collegiate careers at both the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the University of Pittsburgh.
