Chick-fil-A Rivergate
Distinguished Community Business Partner

We celebrate what it truly means to be a Distinguished Community Business Partner — not just a business with a sign out front, but a business with its heart planted firmly in the community.

We’re honoring a business leader who doesn’t just sit courtside. He’s in the game. He’s dishing out assists. And every once in a while? He throws down a generosity dunk that rattles the rim.

Our Distinguished Community Business Partner is Coach Brad Silverbush of Chick-fil-A Rivergate.

They call him Coach for a reason. Because coaching is what he does — every single day.

Over the past three years, Coach Brad has been running full-court press support for our schools. He has donated thousands of dollars in meals to recognize families for consistent, on-time attendance. That’s right — he rewards showing up. Because in school and in life, availability is ability.

He’s also stepped up to appreciate the real MVPs — our educators. Teachers, staff, administrators — the ones who grind it out every single day for our kids. Coach Brad makes sure they know their hard work does not go unnoticed. And let’s be honest — nothing says “we appreciate you” quite like Chick-fil-A showing up in the staff lounge.

He’s organized school supply drives to make sure students are ready to start the year strong. That’s not just charity — that’s preparation. That’s pre-season training for academic success.

But here’s what separates a sponsor from a true partner: presence.

Coach Brad doesn’t just send a check and call it good. He shows up. He attends school events. He advocates publicly for education and funding. He speaks up about why investing in our kids matters. When there’s a conversation about supporting schools, he’s not sitting on the bench — he’s in the huddle.

And every Fourth of July, you’ll find him proudly representing Rancho Cordova at the parade along Coloma Road — waving, smiling, celebrating — reminding everyone that his business isn’t just located here… it belongs here.

Coach Brad takes pride in hiring Rancho Cordova students — often giving them their very first job. For many of these young people, this is their rookie season in the workforce. And he teaches them more than how to take orders and say “my pleasure.” He teaches responsibility. Teamwork.

Accountability. What it means to give back.

That’s building a farm team for the future of our city.

He mentors. He encourages. He models what servant leadership looks like. And he does it consistently — season after season.

In basketball, the stat sheet tells part of the story. Points, rebounds, assists. But sometimes the most valuable player is the one whose impact doesn’t fit neatly into a box score.

Coach Brad’s impact is seen in confident students. Appreciated teachers. First-time employees who discover their potential. Schools that feel supported. A community that feels connected.

That’s championship-level partnership.

  • Rancho Cordova is stronger because of Coach Brad.
  • Our schools are stronger because of his advocacy.
  • And our future is brighter because he believes in investing in the next generation.

Coach, you’ve earned more than applause. You’ve earned the respect of a community that knows a true team player when it sees one.
